Paint Nights

Paint Nights are “friendraisers” that pair a fun instructor lead paint activity with an opportunity to share how supporters can get involved with our organization.  These events have become popular for our supporters as they get to create unique masterpieces.  Interested in creating a masterpiece?  Events are held multiple times throughout the year and details are posted on our facebook page.

Lights On Afterschool

The CIS After-school program is among more than 7,500 programs across the nation celebrating the importance of out-of-school-time programs. Lights on Afterschool is our way of sending a message to community stakeholders, policy makers, and school officials that afterschool is key to our children’s success and we must keep “the lights on and doors open” after school.

Stuff the Bus Campaign

Believe it or not it is back to school time already and with back to school comes anxiety for many local children as they begin their school year unprepared with the items necessary to learn.  CIS of Northwest Michigan, in partnership with our local school districts, works to alleviate the stress for our students by asking community members to donate money or supplies through our annual Stuff the Bus Campaign.
