Believe it or not it is back to school time already and with back to school comes anxiety for many local children as they begin their school year unprepared with the items necessary to learn. CIS of Northwest Michigan, in partnership with our local school districts, works to alleviate the stress for our students by asking community members to donate money or supplies through our annual Stuff the Bus Campaign.
How Can You Help:
– Drop off items between August 1st and the first day of school at either the CIS Main Office (205 Grove Street, Mancelona) or your local school district’s central office. See Additional Drop Off Locations below
– Send a gift to the CIS Main Office (205 Grove Street, Mancelona, MI 49659) or give online to ensure that all needs can be met at each school. Your general gift is tax deductible.
The following is a list of some of the supplies needed most.
All donated materials must be safe for young children and use only non-toxic materials.
